Family Day Care
to this. That's why we do everything in our power to protect and defend our little ones. From the toys they play with, to the foods they consume, to the schools they attend, and even to the other parents they come in contact with. In a sense, we trust no one. Take the average family day care for example. We can't just stick our child in one of these facilities and hope that everything goes well. There is some investigating to be done first.

My wife and I searched our entire city for a good family day care. This was five years ago when I was headed to college for two years and my wife had just began her career. We needed a reputable and trustworthy family day care to watch after our little girl four days a week, from 7:30am to 5:30pm. Yikes, I know; that's a long day for a toddler. Well, we didn't find one we liked until our very last stop. This particular family day care was in the bottom of a church and was associated with the YMCA. Shortly after we stepped inside and talked to the woman who ran the daycare center, I got a good feeling. This was my intuition letting me know that it was OK. I spoke with my wife and she got the same feeling. This is when I knew that this family day care center was for us. Of course you may find this funny, but you really shouldn't. We all have a natural intuition. It lets us know when something is up. I'm sure you've had a bad feeling before. There is a good reason for that. Your body is wired this way to protect you and your children. Trust this intuition, and you'll be glad you did. It has no reason to betray you. Logic, on the other hand, can blind you.

Although searching the town for a family day care may sound like a no-brainer, it's actually a rather large investment. You're trusting a total stranger or strangers to watch your child. That's as big of a decision as they get! When you find the one you can trust, you'll know it.
We love our kids more than life itself. It may sound weird, but I never actually feared my own death until my daughter was born. Suddenly I was living for someone else. I wasn't afraid of dying in the sense that my life would end, but I was terrified of leaving my daughter behind without her father. I'm sure that many parents can relate
